Refund Policy

At Rankoro, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which we will issue refunds and the process for requesting one.

We offer a 14-day free trial for all new accounts, allowing you to fully evaluate our Service before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage you to take advantage of this trial period.

2. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied with our Service within the first 14 days of your paid subscription, you can request a full refund.

Eligibility

  • The refund request must be made within 14 days of the initial payment
  • This applies to first-time subscribers only
  • Refunds are not available for subscription renewals

3. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Here's what happens when you cancel:

  • Monthly Plans: Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. No prorated refunds are issued for the remaining days.
  • Annual Plans: Your subscription remains active until the end of your annual term. Refunds may be available under certain circumstances (see Section 4).

After cancellation, you will retain access to all features until the end of your paid period. Your data will be retained for 30 days after your subscription ends, during which time you can reactivate your account.

4. Annual Subscription Refunds

For annual subscriptions, we offer partial refunds in the following situations:

4.1 Within 30 Days

If you cancel within 30 days of your annual subscription purchase, you may be eligible for a prorated refund minus one month of service at the monthly rate.

4.2 Service Issues

If you experience significant service disruptions or issues that we are unable to resolve, we may offer a prorated refund at our discretion.

4.3 Calculation

Prorated refunds are calculated as follows:

  • Total annual payment minus months used (at monthly rate)
  • Minus any promotional discounts that were applied

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals (monthly or annual)
  • Usage-based charges (API calls, additional credits)
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions beyond the 14-day guarantee
  • Add-on features or one-time purchases

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at billing@rankoro.ai with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for your request
  3. Provide your order/invoice number (found in your account billing history)

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Timeline

We process refund requests within 3-5 business days. Once approved:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds appear within 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: Refunds appear within 3-5 business days
  • Bank Transfer: Refunds appear within 10-15 business days

7.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method.

8. Chargebacks

If you have concerns about a charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Loss of access to your data
  • Additional processing fees

We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly when you contact us directly.

9. Subscription Downgrades

If you downgrade your subscription plan:

  • The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle
  • No refunds are issued for the difference in plan pricing
  • You retain access to your current plan's features until the billing cycle ends

10. Account Credits

In some cases, we may offer account credits instead of refunds. Account credits:

  • Can be used for future subscription payments
  • Do not expire while your account is active
  • Are non-transferable and have no cash value

11. Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional situations may arise. We evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis for circumstances such as:

  • Medical emergencies or extended illness
  • Business closure
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Unauthorized purchases

12. Currency and Taxes

Refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction. Any applicable taxes included in your original payment will also be refunded. Please note:

  • Currency exchange rate differences are not compensated
  • Bank fees charged by your financial institution are not refundable
